Connector panel of the xenon light source
1 Connection socket for the light guide
The light from the light source reaches the surgical microscope via the
light guide.
2 Strain relief
The strain relief prevents inadvertent disconnection of the device plug.
3 Power switch
When the device is switched on, the control lamp in the power switch is
green.
4 Power connection socket
The system is connected to the power outlet via the connected power
cord. Connect the system only to an outlet that is properly grounded.
5 Selection switch for rated voltage and voltage switching
The rated voltage displayed on the sliding switch must match the rated
voltage of the power grid available at the installation site. If the rated
voltage is not correctly set, adjust the sliding switch using a suitable tool.
6 Potential equalization as required by IEC 60601-1
(can be ordered separately, optional)
This connector can be used to connect other active devices to the same
ground potential or for redundant connection to the protective ground.
