2.Wire end should not be exposed

from the drum cylindrical external

face.

Fix the wire rope end on the main

drum

Hand hammer

No.

Steps

Precautions

Tools

Wire rope should be pulled out at

the same time by hand.

Carry out hook decline operation,
and pull out wire rope from the
drum

Steel bar,

hammer

Protective

gloves

Remove the wire rope from the

main drum

Keep well the wedge

Make new wire rope round all

pulleys

Wire or vinyl

plastic tape

Be careful not to round the wrong

pulley, wire rope end should be

winded tightly with wire or vinyl

plastic tape
