10-6 Lifting mechanism operation
10-6-1 Operating precautions
10-6-2 Main lifting mechanism operation (right control handle)
a. Make the weight lifting or falling smoothly, not sharply pull the operating of the lifting
mechanism
b. Before doing the crane operation, one should check the brake to con
fi
rm its normal and then
perform lifting. Before the lifting load still not leaves the ground, do not use the lifting boom and the
extending boom to hang it off the ground, can only do the hook operation.
c. Choose the appropriate steel wire rope magni
fi
cation according to the crane boom length and
the crane performance table.
d. When the hook rotating due to the winding of steel wire rope, one should loose the steel wire
rope completely and can just do the lifting operation.
e. When the hook falling, the steel wire rope must be left on the winding drum at least more than 3
coils.
f. The vertical load lifting is only allowed, not allowed to drag the load without leaving the ground,
and avoid the side load as possible as you can
Push the right control handle forward to fall the hook down and backward to lift the hook up; the
lifting and falling speed is adjusted through the angle of control handle and the throttle size( see Figure
10-16).
