6. Replacement requirements and steps

The new replaced wire rope should be of

the same type and speci

ﬁ

cation with the original

wire rope. If wire rope with different types and

specifications is used, it must be approved by

our company crane design personnel or steel

wire rope manufacturer, and compatible with

the slot shape on drum and pulley.

Based on the using condition, if a section

is needed to cut from a long rope, both ends

should be dealt with, to prevent the wire rope

loose with appropriate methods.

Wire rope should not be placed randomly

in installation, wire rope should always bend

in the same direction, that is, they should be in

the same direction from the reel top to the drum

top, or from reel bottom to drum bottom. You

should be especially careful to the ends
