Chapter 9

Driving crane on the operating state of arm end single pulley, the view is not wide and the 

danger is liable to happen.

The height limit switch must be connected correctly, and its function is ensured at normal.

9-4-4 Dismounting balance weight

9-5-1 Operating precautions

9-5  Mounting and dismounting of arm end single pulley

1.Operate crane slewing so that the main crane boom head is located on the right rear side of the 

crane; 

2.  Press  the  lower  end  of  the  "balance  weight  cylinder  lift  switch"  on  the  dashboard,  so  that  the 

balance cylinder is fully extended, and place the balance weight on the bracket;

3. Repeat balance weight installation step 4, slowly rotate (rightward) with the 

rotary switch

 

on the balance weight remote control box, and observe that the balance weight cylinder is aligned to the 

extending position (Figure 9-19);

4. Manipulate the "balance cylinder lift switch

 on the balance weight remote control box, so that 

the balance weight cylinder is fully retracted;

Arm end single pulley consists of the pulley bracket, pulley shaft, pulley, coupling pin and 

xed 

pin, which is installed in the left side of the head of the end section arm in traveling or when it is not 

used.

When  using  arm  end  single  pulley,  you  can  speed  up  the  lifting  speed  in  case  of  lifting  lighter 

loads, to improve operating ef

ciency.

1. Rotate the arm end single pulley to the left side of the head of the end section arm, so as not to 

affect the driver's sight. 

2. When  operating,  turn  on  the  arm  end  single  pulley  lifting  height  limit  switch

use  the  height 

limit switch of auxiliary arm

, insert the cable plug into the control box socket on main crane boom 

head, and mount the lifting limit switch touch block.

3. Make the auxiliary lifting steel wire rope go through the arm end single pulley and operate using 

the auxiliary lifting mechanism.

4. After mounting the arm end single pulley

connect the over rolling stop device wire.

5. Before operating the arm end single pulley, one must store the auxiliary arm.
