XCT80 Truck Crane Operation Manual

The vehicle requires the use of special antifreeze as the engine coolant. You should replace with

different antifreeze models according to the lowest temperature of the environment. The use of puri

ﬁ

water, tap water or sea water as coolant is never allowed even if the ambient temperature is above 0

℃

The reason is that the water lacks the necessary preservatives and antirust additives, which may cause

the blocked engine and cooling system due to corrosion, affecting the use.

Coolant used in the vehicle cooling system is the antifreeze (JFL-318), with an amount of about

30L, which can be used at the ambient temperature above -10

℃

The "alcohol - water" mixture of antifreeze is not appropriate for engine.

Sea water is strictly prohibited to directly cool the engine.

●

Antifreeze can be added in accordance with requirements off "users

’

manual for engine",

and also can be made by you according to the proposed formula in this manual. In the use of

antifreeze, the freezing point of antifreeze should be 5

℃

lower than the minimum temperature in

the region.

11-7Waste oil, antifreeze processing

All kinds of lubricating oil, grease, fuel, and antifreeze used by the crane will cause certain direct or indirect

pollution to the environment. Antifreeze and lubricating oil is toxic, which should be processed according to the

local environmental laws and regulations if can't continue to use. Using allowed waste processing equipment

(including city maintenance station and the special facilities provided by garage) to reclaim the used antifreeze

liquid and lubricating oil. If you have any questions, please contact with the local environmental protection

department to get help, in order to process conveniently and properly the used antifreeze liquid and lubricating oil.
