12-2-1 Inspection of steel structure bearing weight

Steel structures bearing weight such as boom, turntable, frame, outrigger, rim, etc must be checked at

least once every year. The welding line even not bearing heavy weight also should be paid special attention

during inspection.

If the crane bears overload external force, such as abnormal vibration and impact in operation process,

the dynamic load at parts bearing shock or impact should immediately be inspected. If any crack is fount

on the steel structure, the crack damage degree must be determined by professional and technical personnel

through the material analysis, such as magnetic particle testing, ultrasonic testing or X ray detection,

then repair welding or other methods to repair to damaged parts are implemented by the professional and

technical personnel.

Crane inspection personnel have an unshirkable responsibility for crane internal and external

inspection.

4. Hose for aging, distortion and damage.

Fastening once again of slewing bearing installation bolt:

In routine regular inspection each month, if the slewing bearing

installation bolt looseness is fount, bolt fastening should be carried out at

the maintenance station. In addition, it is recommended that the annual

inspection and veri

ﬁ

cation of slewing bearing installation bolt fastening state

in accordance with the specified torques should be carried out, with bolt

tightening torque of (700~900) N.m.
