Turn off the motor/engine and check the position of the blade on the blade wheels.

See Figure 2-1. 

Position 1 1/4” wide blades so the gullet is 1/8" (3.0 mm) out from the edge of the

blade wheel (±1/32 [.75 mm]).

See Figure 2-2. 

To adjust where the blade travels on the blade wheels, use the cant control bolt.

If the blade is too far out, back the blade onto the wheel by turning the cant control counterclockwise.
If the  blade  is too far  in, turn the  cant control  clockwise until the gullet  of  the blade is the  correct
distance from the front edge of the wheel.

4.

Adjust the blade tension if necessary to compensate for any changes that may have occured while
adjusting the cant control.

5.

Close the blade housing covers.
