8. Faults

Type

Problem

Correction Action

The system has been switched on and no measure-

ment(s) have appeared and the entire area of the screen

is white (or dark).

Switch the system off. Wait 5 seconds and switch the system on.

The screen is dark and the corrective action for #1

above has no effect

Check that the power cable is connected properly and have autho-

rized technical staff check that the supply voltage is correct.

The screen is dark and the action taken to solve the

problem of #2 above has no effect.

Unplug the unit from the power source (wall socket), then remove

the power cord from the instrument. The power cord input socket

includes two internal fuses (see Figure 8.1 Fuse location) . Check

both fuses for continuity. If needed, replace fuse elements (Figure

8.2 Fuse replacement) and mount the fuse holder back in place while

making sure it is inserted all the way in.

WARNING! When needed, use only fuses with

T1.6A / 250 V

specification.

Malfunction during operation.

Switch the system off. Wait 5 seconds and switch the system on.

Unstable control.

Consult factory

The setpoint value is not reached.

Check whether the value of the supply pressure is the value required,

and leak test the plumbing.
