If overheat i ng occurs, [O H] w ill be d i sp l ayed on the i nverter. If th i s error occurs,
check the coo li ng fans ( i f app li cab l e) and/or c l ean the coo li ng f i ns on heat s i nks. If
the fans are operat i ng proper l y and the f i ns are c l ean, check for excess i ve amb i ent
temperature.

W hen an over l oad i s detected, [OL] i s d i sp l ayed on the i nverter. W hen th i s error
occurs, restart the i nverter and check output current. If i t i s h i gher than the
spec i f i cat i ons on the namep l ate, correct the over l oad.

3.1 No Aud i b l e B ee p a t P ow e r -Up
If an aud i b l e beep i s not heard upon po w er up of the A C U, check the fo ll o w i ng:
1. V er i fy that po w er i s ava il ab l e at the un i t.
2. Check the fuse i n the po w er entry modu l e.
3. V er i fy that proper vo l tage/frequency has been se l ected at po w er i nput on the
back of the un i t.
3.2 D i sp l a y Shows B li n k i ng Cu r so r On l y
If on l y a b li nk i ng cursor appears i n the upper l eft corner of the screen:
1. Open the li d and check ser i a l connect i on from CPU port 2 ( l abe l ed on r i ght s i de
of CPU board) to the top r i ght ser i a l port on the d i sp l ay dr i ver board.
2. W i th li d open, d i sconnect r i bbon cab l es to I\O card and RD C card. Turn on
po w er and observe the li ght sequence on the CPU card. The status of the
li ghts shou l d be as fo ll o w s:
a. Run li ght: red, then green
b. BR li ght: a l w ays off
c. BM li ght: shou l d f li cker green (off i n S i mu l a t i on mode)
d. Fa il li ght: red, then off
e. BG A C K li ght: a l w ays off
f. RA M li ght: shou l d f li cker green
g. LARE A li ght: shou l d f li cker green
h. S1 li ght: YELLO W , then off
i . S2 li ght: YELLO W , then off (after S1)
j . S3 li ght: YELLO W , then off (after S2)
