5.8.2.5.2 Ant e nn a Sp ee d S e l ec t i on Cont r o l f r om th e ACU
The [SHIF T] key togg l es bet w een track ( l o w) speed and s l e w (h i gh). POL i s one
speed and therefore the [SHIF T] key has no effect on i ts speed.
To operate the antenna manua ll y, use the fo ll o w i ng procedures:
1. From the M a i n m e nu , se l ect T r ack i ng fun c t i ons... and then M a nu a l a nt e nn a
c ont r o l .

2. To move the A Z ax i s at track speed, press the l eft arro w key to move the ax i s
C C W and the r i ght arro w key to move i t C W . To move the ax i s at s l e w speed,
ho l d do w n the [SHIF T] key and the l eft arro w key to move the antenna C C W ,
and to move the ax i s at s l e w speed i n the C W d i rect i on, ho l d do w n the [SHIF T]
key and the r i ght arro w key.
3. To move the EL ax i s at track speed, press the up arro w key to move the ax i s
up w ard and the do w n arro w key to move i t do w n w ard. To move the ax i s at
s l e w speed, ho l d do w n the [SHIF T] key and the up arro w key to move the
antenna up w ard, and to move the ax i s do w n w ard at s l e w speed, ho l d do w n the
[SHIF T] key and the do w n arro w key.
4. To rotate the Po l ax i s, press the C C W arro w key or the C W arro w key. To move
the ax i s at s l e w speed, ho l d do w n the [SHIF T] key and the up arro w key to
move the antenna up w ard, and to move the ax i s do w n w ard at s l e w speed, ho l d
do w n the [SHIF T] key and the do w n arro w key.

non- i n i t i a li zed targets), names of any preconf i gured targets, or a comb i nat i on of
b l ank li nes and named targets. Refer to the fo ll o w i ng paragraphs to name a target,
change the track i ng mode of a target, or to ed i t a target’s parameters.
