If a 3 dB attenuator i s unava il ab l e, there are t w o other methods that may be used
to drop the s i gna l to 3 dB:
Move the antenna i n EL by ha l f the 3 dB beam w i dth.
On the V ertex TRC-1 4 or TRK-1 4, use the l eve l ad j ust to drop output vo l tage
1.5 V (th i s i s c l ose to a 3 dB drop).
