2 6.To create a target name, use the up and do w n arro w keys to scro ll through the
character set cons i st i ng of the fo ll o w i ng:
A b l ank space
Uppercase a l phabet l etters
Lo w ercase a l phabet l etters

2 7. W hen the des i red character i s h i gh li ghted, press the r i ght arro w key to move to
the next space (to create a target name of more than one l etter). Press i ng
[EN TER] w ill enter the target name as se l ected by the user. (It i s often he l pfu l
to use the sate lli te name as the target name.) B l ank spaces may i nc l uded as
part of the target’s name.
The target mode must no w be set for the target named i n the above steps. The
target parameters must a l so be ed i ted. The target parameters made ava il ab l e for
ed i t i ng w ill be determ i ned by the track i ng mode se l ected for the target. For most
systems, OPT w ill be the des i red track i ng mode.
