Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting and adjustment procedures follow.
1. Close the inner and outer doors of interchange.
2. Momentarily depress the manual vacuum switch to achieve a small
vacuum (about 2-4 inches.)
3. If the unit will not maintain this vacuum for 6 minutes, adjust the
inner and outer doors. See Parts Installation and Adjustments Section
for the procedure.
Note
If door adjustments do not correct the problem, refer to ‘Interchange
Chamber Leaks - Troubleshooting Chart’ in this section. Repeat Steps 1, 2
and 3.

4. Depress the manual vacuum switch to achieve 20 inches of vacuum.
5. Allow the unit to set a 20 inches of vacuum for 30 minutes.
6. Read the vacuum gauge after 30 minutes.
• If vacuum gauge rises 1 inch or less, the unit passes the leak test.
• If vacuum gauge rises more than 1 inch, refer to ‘Interchange
Chamber Leaks - Troubleshooting Chart’. Repeat Steps 4, 5 and 6.
