Service

Reassemble the Unit

Install any necessary equipment before reassembly. To install the vinyl
front:

1. Position the bracket and vinyl front over the opening, and loosely

install all the screws.

2. Alternately tighten all the screws to ensure even pressure on the gasket.

3. Remove the lockout/tagout and return the unit to service.

1. Set the temperature selector switch to the 35C position.

2. Place a calibrated thermometer in the center of the incubator chamber.

3. Allow the incubator temperature to stabilize for approximately 4 hours,

or until stable. Be sure the incubator power switch is On. Do not open
the incubator door during stabilization.

4. Check the temperature indicated on the thermometer. If it differs from

35°C, calibration is necessary.

Calibration is necessary following replacement of the temperature probe or
the temperature controller.

The temperature of the incubator must be stable to correctly perform
recalibration.

1. Locate the 35°C controller adjustment. It is the only adjustment on the

front of the control panel below and to the left of the 35°C switch.

2. Adjust the calibration screw clockwise to raise the temperature or

counterclockwise to lower the temperature. One full turn of the
adjustment screw is equal to approximately 0.5°C.

3. After the temperature has stabilized, recheck the controller calibration,

and repeat the procedure if necessary. Do not open the door during
stabilization.

Note

It may take up to four hours for the incubator to stabilize.
