1. Check the pressure relief bottle for the proper level of mineral oil.
2. Inspect the view screen, sleeves, cuffs, and gloves for rips. Molded
seams are prone to stress cracks.
3. Tighten all perimeter screws on the vinyl front.
4. Ensure that the inner door to the interchange is fully closed and
latched. Also check the latch adjustment. See following section.
5. Check all vinyl tubing in the control compartment for leaks. If
necessary, clamp all fittings.
6. Check the injection frequency of the anaerobic gas (normal rate - once
every 45 minutes to 1 hour).
7. If the unit still uses excessive gas and injection frequency meets
specification, check the tubing from the tank and unit.
8. If the unit will not meet specification, it is suggested to replace or
reseal the vinyl front.
Note
The unit can also be leak-checked with an electronic leak detector if
one is available.
s
Procedures to install and/or adjust various parts follow.
If the door is not sealing on the latch side, remove the latch strike and
adjust the screw on the back of the latch strike (see Figure 1). Shims may
also be installed between the latch and the door. Latch shims or washers
can be used (see Figure 2).
Test the latch adjustment by pulling a 5” vacuum on the interchange, then
verify that the latch is still applying a slight pressure against the door.
