Symptom

Using excessive anaerobic gas

Cause/Solution

Leak in the vinyl front (sleeves, cuffs, or gloves). Repair leaks as needed.

Symptom

Excessive moisture in the chamber. 

Cause/Solution

Wafers need to be baked more frequently or replaced. Bake for 2 hours
at 160°C. May need to replace desiccant wafer.

Symptom

Vacuum pump runs continuously, but does not register on

gauge. 

Cause/Solution

Leak on outer door seal. Adjust or replace door seal.  

Symptom

Vacuum pump runs for a short time, then shuts down (gas sys-

tem light out). 

Cause/Solution

Inner door seal is leaking. Ensure inner door is pulled fully forward and
latched. If unsuccessful, door seal or latch bar may require replacement. 

Symptom

Anaerobic gas is continuously injected into glove chamber. 

Cause/Solution

Obstruction in the anaerobic gas solenoid, defective gas pressure switch,
or manual purge valve is on.

Symptom

After completion of a cycle, the sequence incomplete light stays

on. 

Cause/Solution

The inner/outer door switch is defective or needs adjusted.
