“15” (P0115-H/L) ET SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

INSPECTION
Step 1 (When indicating 15:)

1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Remove the rear center leg shield. (

5-6)

3) Check the ET sensor coupler

for loose or poor contacts.

If OK, then measure the ET sensor voltage at the coupler.

DETECTED CONDITION

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Output voltage is not within the following
value.
0.1 V

Sensor voltage < 4.7

• ET sensor circuit open or short.
• ET sensor malfunction.
• ECM malfunction.

Sensor voltage is higher than specified
value.

• ET sensor circuit open or ground circuit open.

• ET sensor circuit shorted to ground.
