3-71     ENGINE

CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT

• Loosen the clutch adjustment lock-nut 

 

1

.

• First, turn the adjusting bolt clockwise by one turn and turn it

counterclockwise until resistance is felt, then turn it clockwise
by 1/8 turn.

• Tighten the clutch adjustment lock-nut to the specified torque.

Clutch adjustment lock-nut: 13 N·m (1.3 kgf-m)

GEAR POSITION SWITCH

• Install the spring

 and gear position switch pin

• Install the gear position switch

.

CAM CHAIN

• Install the cam chain

 onto the crankshaft sprocket.

STARTER CLUTCH AND GENERATOR ROTOR
