CHASSIS

Place a cloth underneath the union bolt on the

master cylinder to catch spilled drops of brake

fluid. Unscrew the union bolt and disconnect the

brake hose from the master cylinder joint.

Remove two fitting screws, and remove the cap

and diaphragm.

Drain brake fluid.

MASTER CYLINDER

REMOVAL AND DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Immediately and completely wipe off any
brake fluid contacting any part of the
motorcycle. The fluid reacts chemically with
paint, plastics, rubber materials, etc. And
will damage them severely.

Remove two clamp bolts and take off the master

cylinder.

Snap ring pliers

09900-06108

Remove the dust seal boot.

Remove the circlip by using the special tool.

Remove the piston, primary cup and spring.
