20-4. HOW TO USE TOUCH PANEL
CALIBRATION TOOL .

Touch Position Calibration
After replacing the touch panel unit it is necessary to adjust the
touch position. The procedure is described as follows.
1) Connect the PC with Service tool and the monitor by the video
output cable and the USB cable. The two cables must be
connected to the same side of the monitor.
2) Turn on the main power of the monitor.
3) Touch “+” next to the number in order from one to nine by the
touch pen. When the touching operation is succeeded, the
red color of “+” turns to the green.
4) After touching all nine points and following message is
displayed, touch “OK” button. When “OK” button is touched,
the touch panel calibration tool is finished.
5) Turn off and on the main power of the monitor.

After finishing the touch panel calibration, confirm whether the
touching position fits with the described position.
20-5. ERROR WHEN STARTING THE MONITOR
.
When the touch panel calibration tool is started first time or the
touch panel calibration tool is started without connecting the
monitor, the following error message is displayed.
1. Confirm whether the touch panel and the PC are connected by
the USB cable.
-> When the touch panel and the PC are not connected, connect
them by the USB cable and restart the touch panel calibration tool.
2. Select “USB Device” from “Setup” on the menu bar and select
the following setting values from the dialog.
Vendor ID Product ID
PN-L803C/PN-L80CT3 0x04DD 0x98CA
After selecting the setting values, “Now” is displayed next to
selected vendor ID and the product ID on the dialog window.
After selecting the vendor ID and the product ID with “Now”, press
“OK” and return to the screen of the touch panel calibration.
Finish the touch panel calibration tool once and perform the touch
panel calibration from the beginning again.
