S Voice is a voice-
command tool; simply
use your voice to deliver
commands and S Voice
will respond. Its capabilities
extend to being able to
answer general-knowledge
questions, as well as acting
as a local listing service
in order to help i nd the
nearest restaurant, and
being able to play music
or record memos, among
other things.

Opening up your Samsung
Galaxy device, searching
for app icons to tap, waiting for them to open and then i nding
the right interface and command to issue takes time, and can be
inconvenient if you don’t have time to spare, or if you have your
hands full carrying lots of bags. Maybe you are running to catch a
plane, or a disability prevents the easy use of the standard interface.
In all of these cases, the S Voice app can prove to be invaluable. It
acts like a butler or a maid, hearing your instructions and acting
upon them, and if necessary, delivering information based upon
those commands. S Voice will perform tasks that might have
required a fairly complex command structure, but even basic
commands can save time. To perform such commands, open up S
