Tag and share snaps
If you end up using the camera on your Galaxy device profusely, the
chances are you’ll end up with hundreds of disorganised photos
that need to be sorted through. Thankfully, the Gallery app comes
with a few hidden surprises to make the process a little easier.
Tag Buddy, accessible from Settings via the menu icon, is a
uni q ue feature that helps you tag your images to make them easily
distinguishable and searchable ( F ig 3). Y ou can tag people’s faces
and names, the weather and even the place that you took the
picture. Once you’ve tagged all the photos you can then sort them
into a logical order based on the individual tags you set on each
one of them. Once you have enabled Tag Buddy, you’ll fi nd that
pictures you take showing people’s faces will start being populated
Undo edits
If you’re inside an
effect you can tap
here to cancel it. If
not, you’ll see an
undo arrow you
can use instead

When adjusting colours
and suchlike you can
control the levels by
moving your finger
across the screen
Edit images
Once you’ve finished
tweaking your image in
Photo Editor, press ‘Done’
to apply your edits
More options
All the various edits
appear at the bottom
of the screen, and any
further options for
them appear here
