or Twitter, for example. Once you have created a Buddy, tap on the
icon and then tap on Buddy
P age in order to examine their details.
Y ou can see their photo image, along with other details such as
their phone number. Y ou can also assign your favourite Buddies to
‘Special Buddy’ status. These can also include non-human Buddies
such as news and media channels.
Start a chat
Tap Start a chat and then choose a Buddy to
begin. Now tap the orange
E moticon button
to view the list of available emoticons. These
are great for helping you to communicate how
you’re feeling. Tap on the Trunk icon (located at
the top-right of the screen) to view any ob
j ects
you’ve previously attached to your chat with
this buddy, such as images or videos.
Y ou can
attach an ob j ect to a chat message by tapping
the Attach paperclip button beside the E moticon button. The
Attach window will appear, and you can tap the icon corresponding
to the type of ob
j ect you want to add.
Download extras
At the top of the screen, tap the M ore button at the top-right
and a new screen of choices will then appear, which include the
Download option. Tap on this to view categories of extra features
that you can incorporate into
C hatON, ranging from fonts and
templates to stamps and animated emoticons. Tapping the
Download button ad
j acent to files inside these allows you to
download them individually. New fonts can add a real personal
touch to your messages, while Stamps are tiny pieces of art acting
more like elaborate emoticons. Backgrounds add emotion to I
M .
H it Attach and choose
Animessage. Tap the +
tile and you’ll be able to
record your own drawing

Share your Trunk
2 Choose item Y ou’ll see all
the images and videos you’ve
shared. Tap any item to open it.
3 Menu F rom here, tap on the
M enu button on your device,
followed by Share.
4 Send C hoose the service to
share with. Scroll the Share page
to view the choices.
