Twitter is a social media
client, where users can
create snippets of their
thoughts and post them
to the world. Although
there are several Twitter
apps currently available for
Galaxy, the offi
cial Twitter
app remains the best
choice. The app is split into
menus, enabling you to
fi nd your profi le, newsfeed
and private messages.
Tweeting directly
from your Galaxy
At the heart of Twitter is the
act of sending out tweets.
These are small posts that
are linked to your profi le and can be started by tapping the What’s
H appening? fi eld at the bottom of the screen. There are no real rules
to what you can post, apart from each one must be 14 0 characters
or less ; so don’t expect the chance to write any in-depth posts here.
At the bottom of the tweet box, you’ll also fi nd the option to add a
video or image to the tweet, so other people can watch it and share
it on their profi les for their followers to interact with.
Y our created
tweets are then sent to all the people that follow you, who can then
interact with it and you can interact with their tweets too. As well
as simply reading each other’s tweets, you can also retweet it on to
your own page, write a reply or favourite it. Whenever you create
