If you check ‘Unknown’ then all calls from anyone who is not
listed in your contacts will automatically be re j ected. Be careful if
you do this as some companies and establishments’ numbers are
never displayed. If you would like to add a specifi c number to the
blacklist then tap
C reate and add a number. Tap the photo icon
to search call logs or contacts for a specifi c number, or j ust type a
number into the box. F inally, tap Save to activate your blacklist.
Set auto-reject text
Sometimes a call comes in and you are interested in talking to that
particular person, but you
j ust can’t take the call immediately for
whatever reason. H owever, it is possible to let them know you are
interested in talking rather than j ust sending their call directly to
voicemail. Y our Galaxy lets you set up text messages that you can
easily send out as you are re j ecting a call.
Once again, press the M enu button to bring up the options and
then choose C all Settings. Tap Set re j ect messages. There are several
template messages already in the system but you can easily add
personalised ones by tapping
C reate. When a call comes in you can
then re j ect it by sending a pre-written text message.
1 Set up SMS Go to Settings> C all>
C all re j ection and tap on Re j ection
messages to create or select one.
2 Reject the call When you re j ect a
call, select a specific message to let
the caller know you can’t answer.

If you want to use Auto

j ect mode, you must
ensure it is turned on in
the settings
1 Set up speed dials F rom the
Keypad screen, press the M enu
button then Speed dial.

2 Select a number Tap one of the
speed dial numbers that’s not
yet been allocated.
3 Add a contact Search for a
contact in your list to add to the
speed dial.
4 Use speed dial Once added,
call them by long-pressing their
number on the keypad.
