1. Install

Realterm

Download Realterm and install according to the instructions on

the Realterm website.

2. Configure

connection

Connect the RM-804/805 via USB or via RS232.

If using RS232, make note of the configured baud rate.

Go to the Windows device manager and find the COM port

number for the connection.

For example in Windows 7, go to the Start menu > Control

Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager

Double click the Ports icon to reveal the connected serial port

devices and the COM port for each connected device.

If using USB, the baud rate, stop bit and parity settings can be

viewed by right-clicking connected device and selecting the

Properties option.
