Confirming the System Setup
Setting the Date and Time
Configuring the Network
To begin select System
Setup and the list will
expand, then select the
Date/Time option.
If the Date and Time are
incorrect, make the
changes required and
select the Change button
when finished.
The DICOM Appliance by
default will ship with
English as the default
language. Select the
preferred Language from
the drop box and select
the Change button.
Next select the Network
section.
By default eth0 is configured
as DHCP.
To reconfigure the Network
make any necessary changes
and then select the Save
Changes button, then the
select Restart Services button.
If the IP address is changed,
reconnect to the GUI using
the new IP address.
If DHCP is used, the Domain
Name Service will be filled in.
If a Static IP is used, the
information will need to be
typed in manually.
Note: Ensure the host name
entry for Appliance is added to
the DNS server.
