Phase Two – Preconfigured settings for the DICOM Appliance
Using the Web Graphical User Interface (GUI)
This section provides overview instructions for configuring the Appliance using the Web GUI.
This guide explains some of what will need to be done, and points to the appropriate
software manuals for the rest of the information. For detailed instructions on working with
the software refer to the Administrator’s Guide or contact a qualified service provider.

Power on the appliance and allow a few minutes for the appliance to boot
•
Open a Web Browser from another machine and type in the IP address that was
assigned during boot process
Opening the Web GUI for the First Time
The Login screen will appear, login as the
“Root” with the default password.
The default “root” password is “Galaxy”. It
is recommended to change this password
after the first login.
The first time the browser is
connected to the Appliance the
End User License Agreement
may be displayed.
After reviewing the agreement
and agreeing to the terms, place
a check mark in the Accept
License Agreement box and
select the Continue button.
