Viewing DICOM attributes
Using the Administration Tools, you can view the DICOM attributes for a series instance
stored by the DICOM Appliance.
Note: DICOM attributes can only be viewed if the study is stored in the cache, or in the
cache and on the Archive Server. If the study is only on the Archive Server, the attributes
cannot be viewed.
To view DICOM attributes
1. Log into the Administration Tools.
2. In the Administration Tools, click
Folder.
3. On the Folder page, find the required study.
4. Expand the required patient, study, and series down to the image level by clicking
the + button next to the patient, study, and series.
5. In the image row, click Show DICOM attributes.
A table of DICOM tags and values as stored in the DICOM Appliance is displayed in
a browser window.
6. If you want to view the original DICOM attributes as stored in the physical file,
expand the study further by clicking the + button in the image row, and then click Show
original DICOM attributes.
Deleting patients, studies, series, or images
If required, you can delete patients, studies, series, or images from the Data Center

.
You must have the Web Admin access level to delete objects. Note that if you
delete all series from a study, the study information remains in the database, even
though the study has no images.
6. When asked to confirm, click OK.
