Phase Four – Managing the ADA Media
By default the ADA drive is configured to do an automatic Incremental Copy of the
simulated media in the jukebox named jbsd. This procedure ensures that the data written
to the GalaxyDICOM is copied to a physical media which can be stored in a safe place. In
the rare case of a disaster the GalaxyDICOM can be completely rebuilt from the ADA media.
Incremental Copy/Multiple Incremental Copy (MIC)
Incremental Copy allows one automatic copy per Integral Volume set and is the default
setting for the GalaxyDICOM.
