Clearing an Error or Replacing a Replica Media
The Incremental Copy status
window for the Integral Volume
set pac_nearline is displaying an
error.
From this window there are
several options available:
Refresh, Replace, Reset and
Close.
To clear an error condition on the
Replica media place a check in
the Rest Error check box and
push the Reset button. The next
time the Incremental Copy runs
it will attempt to continue writing
to the media.
In some cases the Replica media
will have an unrecoverable error.
In this case the media will need
to be replaced.
To replace a Replica media place
a check in the Replace check box
and push the Replace button.
Next go to the Online Media page
and export the current Replica
media and Import a new Replica
media.
The next time Incremental Copy
runs it will start the copy process
from the beginning of the source
media.
