Managing Patients, Study, Series Image Information
Finding patients or studies
Find patients and studies using the search fields in the Folder tab of the Administration
Tools.
To find patients or studies
1. Log into the Administration Tools.
2. In the Administration Tools, click Folder.
3. In one of the search fields, enter one or more search criteria.
4. Optionally, from the list select an AE Title and select the AET Filter checkbox.
5. Click New Search.
The search results are displayed.
6. If multiple search results pages are displayed, navigate the pages by clicking Next
Search Results
or Previous Search Results
.
Searching by study instance UID
If required, you can search by study instance UID instead of study ID.
To search by study instance UID
1. Log into the Administration Tools.
2. In the Administration Tools, click Folder.
3. Show the study IUID column in the Patient List.
The Study ID search field changes to Study IUID.
4. Complete the search using the Study IUID criteria.
Showing the study instance UID or study description column
In the Folder tab of the Administrations Tools, choose whether to show the Study
Description column or the Study UID column. When showing the Study IUID column, you
can find studies based on instance UID.
To show the study instance UID or study description column
1. Log into the Administration Tools.
2. In the Administration Tools, click Folder.
3. Next to the Study Description column heading, click IUID.
The column changes to show the study instance unique identifier. IUID in the column
header is bold.
4. To revert, click Study Description.
