GalaxyDICOM Appliance Administration
The DICOM Appliance Administration section is a collection of user configuration pages
provided for administrating the DICOM Appliance application.
Server Configuration
The Server Configuration provides a user interface to configure the archive and query the
application and communication parameters.
Application Entity (AE) Management
AE Management provides the tools to manage entities by AE Titles and configure their
security levels, the AE Titles, host names and port numbers of the remote applications, to
which the GalaxyDICOM shall be connected to and must be configured in the AE
Management. Through the AE Management, AE Titles can be added, edited, deleted, and
can test connections to a configured entity.
AE Management Security Levels
The GalaxyDICOM appliance supports an optional secure DICOM communication in conformance
with the Basic TLS Secure Transport Connection Profile. By default the TLS is deactivated.
The GalaxyDICOM appliance can be configured to accept Association Requests from a limited list
of Calling AE Titles. By default the Association requests with any Calling AET and any Called
AET will be accepted. However, if the Called AET is not correspondent of any of the actual
Storage Server AET’s, only acceptance of the Presentation Context for Verification SOP Class will
be returned in the Association Acceptance Response (A-ASSOCIATE AC).
There are three different optional Cipher Suites supported by the GalaxyDICOM over TLS
connections.
•
SSL_RSA_WITH_NULL_SHA: No Encryption, “only” Entity Authentication by RSA
based on certificates & Data Integrity check by SHA hashing function
•
TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA: Uses AES_128_CBC for Encryption
•
SSL_RSA_WITH_3DES_EDE_CBC_SHA: Uses Triple DES EDE, CBC Encryption
The order defines the preferences e.g.:
Server Status displays the
status of the server, it also
provides user interface to start
and stop server.
Server Info displays server
information.
Provides a user interface to
configure the online and near
line file systems.
