Users
By Default three Users are configured.
The “root” user has all rights to the
system, even if no rights are specified.
It should be used mostly for configuring
the Galaxy Appliance and Galaxy User
Management.
The “admin” user is the primary role for
the system administrator. By default it
has most of the available privileges.
The “operator” user is a regular user
belonging to the Operator role and
should be limited to non-administrative
functions.
The User Management has the ability to
disable\enable users which allows
suspending some users without deleting
them.
To create a new user, select
Add New Local User.
Enter the Name.
Enter a Password and
confirm it.
Place a check in the Enable
User check box.
Place a check in the Personal
Access Roles check box that
this user will belong to.
When finished push the
Update button to save the
new settings.
