Issue the “reboot” command to reboot the GalaxyDICOM from hard disk.
Note: Remove the USB flash drive at the beginning of the server boot process.
Once the system has been booted from the hard disk, login into the system with the user”
root” and the password “Galaxy”.
Run the “ ifconfig” command and take note of the IP Address.
From a browser access the Web Management Interface using “https”, (
https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/
) replace ‘x’s’ with the IP Address listed in “ifconfig” output.
Log into the GUI with the user “root” and the password “Galaxy”.
GalaxyDICOM Licensing
GalaxyDICOM requires a standard HSM v5.1 license file. Select Archive Manager from the
GUI menu to begin licensing the Storage Archive. The Storage Archive License Management
page provides all the information needed to obtain a Demo or Permanent License Key from
Customer Support Personnel.
Please have the following information available when calling or emailing the request for the
license key.
1) Product Type (DICOM Appliance)
2) Hardware Serial Number
3) License Version
4) Host ID
Fill the form out at
http://www.qstar.com/license-key
and an email will be sent back that
contains an activation key that must be uploaded to the Appliance. Once the file is received,
copy the file to the local machine that has the Appliance web interface.
