GHDX2-ADA DICOM Storage and Archive Appliance Admin Guide

Integral Volumes-Volume Management-Integral Volume Set

The DICOM Appliance has already
been pre-configured to include an
Integral Volume set named
pacs_nearline, with Incremental
Copy configured, an online_cache,
used as DICOM primary storage
(majority of the disk available
within the Appliance) and a
Simulated Jukebox with Media
named jbsd and a standalone ADA
Bluray drive named ada.

Volume Management displays the
characteristics of the specified
Integral Volume set once it is
created.

In the Available Media window are
the media which are available to
be added to the Integral Volume
set. The media in jbsd is rotated,
so no additional media is required
it is then automatically copied to
the physical media in the ADA
drive to be stored offline.
