The barcode and autogain functionalities are not activated using
the
Barcode area and Autogain area checkboxes in the Area
Definition Control. Selecting these checkboxes allows for the
definition of the barcode and autogain areas.
To activate the barcode functionality, specify “Barcode” as part
of the image file name using the File Settings Control (Figure
26). To activate the autogain functionality, select the
Autogain
checkbox in the Parameter Control (Figure 25).

Do not adjust the barcode area if using NimbleGen arrays. The
default location and size of the barcode area has been designated
specifically for these arrays.
