Organization of this manual

This manual describes the features and operation principles of the Light Obscuration Particle

Counter KL-04. For information regarding the operation of other equipment in the case of incor-

porating the KL-04 into a measurement system with other equipment, always make sure to refer

to the documentation of the other equipment. The following pages contain important information

on safety. Be sure to read this part.
