System Setting

4. Click the “Add” button.

The “Add a Printer Entry” window appears.

5. Select “Remote Unix (lpd) Queue” from printer types shown on the “Printer type”

then click the “OK” button.

The “Edit Remote Unix (lpd) Queue Entry” window appears.

6. Input a random printer name to “Names (name1[name2]...)” space and a host name

for the printer to be connected to the “Remote Host” space, then input a Remote

Queue name in the “Remote Queue” space.

Note

The Remote Queue is used to spool printouts requested by this
unit. The names vary depending on the printer manufacturers or
Os mode. Please contact the system administrator for the printer
host name and the Remote Queue name.
