Calibration
When shipped from the factory, a maximum of four possible types of calibration (includ-
ing options) have been carried out and the results are already registered as Calibration
Data. These data serve as reference values that determine the setting (threshold) values
for particle classifi cation (size per channel) during measurement.
To enable measurement based on calibration data, it is fi rst necessary to carry out the
Performance-Test and to register the Performance-Test data.
Note
The Calibration Parameters, such as JPxx, registered at the time
of shipment (registered only for those who requested this option)
are the offi cially approved ones (in accordance with each Phar-
macopeia).
When Calibration is required, copy the Calibration Parameter
registered at the time of shipment, then copy and modify it and
register it as a new Calibration Parameter for use.
