Performance-Test
The Performance Test serves to verify if the performance requirements of a given phar-
macopeia (particle size resolution etc.) are met by the calibration data of the system.
The pharmacopeia defi nes the requirements both for calibration and testing. If the calibra-
tion method is different, the Performance Test content will also differ.
A proper Performance-Test should be carried out using a Performance-Test Parameter in
order to verify whether the system is operating according to the respective. However, if a
simple system check is suffi cient, other Performance-Test Parameters can be set in addition
to the specifi ed Performance-Test, in order to separate several Performance-Tests.
At the time of shipment, the Performance-Test Data is registered with the confi rmation of
the calibrated result on the unit as satisfactory after carrying out a maximum of four(4)
types of Performance-Test, including an Option.
Please carry out the Performance-Test regularly in order to check if the system works
correctly.
Note
The Performance-Test Parameters such as JPxx registered at the
time of shipment (only for those who have ordered this option)
are in accordance with every Pharmacopeia.
When a simple Performance-Test is required, copy the Perfor-
mance-Test Parameter registered at the time of shipment, then
register it is a new Performance-Test Parameter.
Performance-Test Sequence
Note
The Performance-Test Parameters must be set prior to the Perfor-
mance-Test. See page 67 onwards for “Performance-Test Parameter
Setting”.
The Performance-Test sequence is as follows;
1. An operator with access privileges to “Performance Test” must log in and then
display the “KL-04 - Start New Window” window.
