Measurements
Dilution Ratio:
This is only accessible when ‘Calculate Particles per Unit Volume?’ is
checked. When a sample is measured after dilution for reasons of high
number concentration or viscosity, the dilution ratio has to be set. Set
the dilution ratio for the sample being actually measured. With that
dilution ratio, convert it to the undiluted particle number concentra-
tion, then convert it again to the actual volume. The converted result
is refl ected only in the display of the average.
The allowable setting range is 1.0 to 100.0 (0.1 times step).
Clear “No.” Field at Measurement Start?:
Clear the numeric value in the “KL-04 - Measurement” window at the
measurement starting.
Note
When this item is not checked, the number (when entered) in the
“No.” fi led on the “KL-04 - Measurement” window increases by
one for each new measurement start up.
Flush
Aspiration Flow Rate (mL/min):
This sets the suction velocity of the syringe during cleaning.
The allowable setting range is 5 to 100 mL / min (1 mL step).
Drain Flow Rate (mL/min):
This sets the syringe’s drain velocity while cleaning.
The allowable setting range is 1 to 100 mL / min (1 mL step).
Flush Volume (mL):
This sets the suction volume of the syringe to suck each time during
cleaning.
The allowable setting range is between 0.2 to 25.0 mL (0.1 mL step).
Repeat (times):
This sets the number of repetitions. The allowable range is between 1
to 100 times.
