8.1 General Information
The parameters and the user program are stored on a module card. This
card has the description ’MOK19.’
Note: This data can be lost in the event of an error. Therefore, it is
critically important to back up this data in another place
outside the control. (e.g.: external computer or as a hard copy)
All system rating data and mechanical details are input into the CLM as
parameters.
Parameters are input in Parameter Mode. For most parameter numbers,
only one piece of information can be stored.
The parameters and user program are protected from power loss.
After start-up, pressing the ’Clear’ key for faults, or loading parameters,
the parameters are checked. For erroneous or missing parameters, an
corresponding error message (Invalid Input) is issued.
When parameters are changed, a recalculation of all parameter-
dependent program instructions is performed when exiting Parameter
Input mode. During this time, the message ’Please Wait’ appears on the
display.
Note: The parameter data is transferred to the memory using the
Save key
.

In the first display line, the parameter description with the corresponding
relationship to the axis is always displayed.
In the third display line, the relationship to the axis and the parameter
number is displayed.
In the fourth display line, the parameter data is displayed.
The unit designation ’IU’ that is used in the parameter descriptions means
that an input in ’input units’ is required.
