PATIENT POSITIONING MECHANISM

Technical Manual

From the list of Service settings select Patient positioning adjustment.

Figure 94

The display shown below appears. Adjust the position of the patient positioning mechanism
with the arrow fields until the line on the ball phantom lines up with the line on the alignment
ruler. The position of the mechanism is shown above the arrows. Accept the new value by
touching the OK field.

Figure 95

Remove the alignment pin and exit the service settings mode.

Take another ball phantom picture to check the alignment again. Readjust if necessary.
