PANORAMIC X-RAY BEAM ADJUSTMENT

Technical Manual

Make sure that the X-ray unit is in the panoramic exposure mode (text Pan on the main dis-
play). Touch the ready field to drive the X-ray unit into the exposure position. The rotating unit
will move to ready position. 

Figure 21

On the exposure switch holder a ready indicator light will come on and on the main display the
Ready field will be green. The Dimaxis program will show the 

Waiting for Ready 

message on

the computer screen.

The indicator light will flash while the unit moves to the ready position. They will stop flashing
when the unit has reached the ready position for the selected panoramic exposure program.
The Dimaxis program will now show the 

Waiting for Exposure

 message on the computer

screen.

NOTE

The ready indicator light will be flashing if the PC is not in the ready state. Refer to the
Dimaxis user’s manual on how to prepare the system ready for the exposure.

Select the Test mode as follows. Touch the i-field on the 

Main

 display. The list of User set-

tings appears.
