06 Advanced Setup Menu (Settings for Commercial Use)
¶
When the ON time item is flashing, pressing the
|
but-
ton will cause the weekday item to flash; then the
»
,
«
buttons can be used to change the weekday. This is con-
venient when you wish to set two or more ON/OFF times
on the same weekday.
¶
If the weekday is set to [
ALL
], the same power ON/OFF
settings can be applied to all days of the week.
¶
If no OFF time is set, the power will only turn ON.
¶
An OFF time can be set without setting any ON time if
desired; in this case, the unit power turns OFF at the set
time, but only if the timer has started from the power ON
status.
3. After setting the power ON/OFF times,
move the pointer to select the next
operation to be performed following
power ON from the following three.
Important
¶
This setting cannot be made if no ON time is set.
¶
Writing to memory is performed when the timer setting
menu is closed. If the power is turned OFF before then,
the timer settings will not be preserved.
¶
DVD discs programmed to begin automatic playback will
not operate in accordance with their programmed setting.
(1) TOP MENU
The disc’s top menu opens. If the disc has no top menu, the
disc stops.
(2) TITLE
Playback begins from designated title and chapter. When [
2.
TITLE
] is selected and the
ENTER
button is pressed, the fol-
lowing menu appears displaying the [
TITLE
] and [
CHAPTER
].
The number buttons, cursor buttons, and
ENTER
button can
then be used to select the desired title and chapter.
Important
¶
When a title and chapter have been selected, the selected
chapter will be played, and if subsequent chapters exist,
playback will continue to those chapters. Playback will end
at the end of the selected title.
If repeat play has been set in the
ADV. SETUP
menu,
however, when the selected chapter has completed play-
ing, the set repeat play will occur.
¶
When setting a track on a CD or Video CD, input the de-
sired track number in the menu’s [
CHAPTER
] item. En-
tries to the [
TITLE
] item will be ignored.
Note
¶
If you wish to merely turn the player ON, select [
TITLE
]
and input any title number that does not physically exist
on the disc.
(3) COMMAND STACK
Designates a COMMAND STACK group and automatically
begins playback. When [
3. COMMAND STACK
] is selected
and the
ENTER
button is pressed, the [
GROUP
] menu will
appear as shown; use the number buttons, cursor buttons,
and
ENTER
button to select the desired
COMMAND STACK
group.
Important
¶
The selected COMMAND STACK will be automatically
repeated during playback.
4. When a play operation is set, the screen
returns to the initial menu page.
¶
For example, when title 2, chapter 6 is set, the menu
appears as follows.
To set different ON/OFF and operation items for each day of
the week, follow the same procedure as above to set [
TUE
],
[
WED
], and so on, as required. To set the same times/opera-
tions for each day of the week, the [
ALL
] item can be set,
together with the ON/OFF times and operation. In this way,
the same operations will be performed each day of the week
at the same times.
Note
¶
When the cursor button is used to select a setting item
followed by the
CLEAR
button, that setting value will be
deleted.
Note
WEEKLY TIMER can be set by using either the remote con-
trol unit or the mouse.
¶
When the mouse cursor (hand pointer ) appears over
an item, clicking the left mouse button allows the selec-
tion or setting to be changed.
¶
Numbers are incremented by 1 each time the left mouse
button is clicked, and decremented by 1 with each click of
the right mouse button.
¶
With the cursor over [
ENTER
], press the left mouse but-
ton to validate the selected values.
¶
With the cursor over [
