Handling the pump to remove
it from the crate
The pump is equipped with three brackets screwed on the pump top
cover.
These brackets are used for handling the pump as well as fixing two
pumps (stacking)

It is highly recommended that a hoist is used for lifting.
Fit a shackle (delivered in the crate in separate packaging) on each
lifting bracket.
With a hoist and a sling with three arms, lift the pump using
shackles.

Prepare the pump
Lower the pump on the wheels.
To prevent humidity from entering the pump during transport, the unit
has been pressurized with dry nitrogen before shipment.
The inlet and exhaust are sealed with blank-off flanges which should not
be removed until the pump is ready to be used.
Handling
Heavy product
This product needs special handling precautions due to its weight. It
should be removed from its crate only by staff trained in heavy materials
handling : use the lifting rings provided with the product or tighten the
pump to the handling devices . The maker can not be held liable for the
consequences of using other rings.
