LS 55 User’s Guide

7.

Turn the clamp plate through 180 degrees so that the hole in the plate no
longer lines up with the hole where the bolt was, then replace it, securing it
with the two screws removed in step 4, as shown in Figure 10.

Repeat steps 4 to 7 for the second clamp.

9.

Store the two hexagonal clamps in their fixing points on the left side of the
instrument, as shown in Figure 11.

Lower the instrument cover, close the sample compartment and secure the
cover by retightening the two screws loosened in step 2.

11.

Slide the instrument back on the bench so that it does not protrude.
