Cleaning the air filter

In normal operating conditions the air filter should be cleaned every time the
source is replaced. The air filter is situated on the right-hand side of the rear panel,
as shown in Figure 137.

The air filter is cleaned as follows:

WARNING

Switch off the mains supply switch of the LS 55 and remove

the mains supply cable before starting this procedure.

1.

Switch off the LS 55 and remove the mains supply plug.

2.

Place a flat bladed screwdriver in one of the two slots on the right side of the
air filter holder and then lever off the air filter holder.

3.

Remove the air filter.

4.

Clean off dust from the filter grid.

5.

Replace the grid in the holder and refit the filter holder by snapping in to
place.

6.

Reconnect the mains cable and switch on.
